The CREER Fundraiser: Classic Cars and Helping Kids!

CREER was established over ten years ago as an organization designed to boost educational achievement, social opportunities and essential services for children in the immigrant Latino population of San Juan Capistrano and its adjacent cities. They provide tutoring, after school programs, a ballet folklorico school, a soccer academy, a mariachi school and other services to local kids in need. The group works with the Capistrano Unified School District, Mission Hospital, local churches, businesses and nonprofits, all of whom serve as resources to fill in the gaps in immigrant communities – as the CREER website states, just like the Settlement Houses did for previous generations. What better way to spend our time than helping out this great organization?
